Floating Silt Curtains – also known as Silt Nets or Turbidity Curtains have been designed to control the dispersion of suspended solids in your water column during piling, dredging, bank re-profiling, quarrying or marine construction.
Designed to be flexible floating installation which extend downward from the surface of the water to specified depth usually tight to the bed. Generally the curtain is maintained in a vertical position by closed cell floats at the top and a ballast chain along the bottom for anchorage.
Silt Curtains are not a one-size-fits-all solution and we have a range of fabrics available – we can supply robust and cost-effective solutions depending on your requirements. Different curtain grades are available to meet all requirements and conditions from disposable systems for short term projects to heavy duty longe-term permanent installations.
