Our heavy duty Steel U Pins are ideal for a variety of applications such as grass reinforcement, erosion control and stabilisation when working on soft ground conditions.
These round top U Shaped Pins have been designed to be strong and robust when securing thick steel and plastic mesh, erosion control matting, weed control fabrics and geotextiles into the ground.
Soft ground conditions include softer soils and wet ground in garden areas – they are also ideal for slopes and can be used as artificial grass pins in newly turfed areas. The U Pins are designed to be squeezed together when hammering them into the ground, the wires will try to spring back once planted which subsequently tightens their hold preventing them from being pulled out easily. This leads to a very sturdy and secure application.
