Equestrian Support Wire has been designed to combine effective safety and security for horses with a strong, durable and aesthetically pleasing fencing system manufactured from a synthetic polymer monofilament which is easy to install, cost-effective and low maintenance.
The wire comes as a standard 4mm diameter monofilament horse fence wire although can be custom-made to order if you speak with our Sales team about your requirements!
The fencing's smooth finish ensures it won't scar your animal if it brushes against the fence or attempts to escape the perimeter border. Horses regularly attempt to break through fences which can result in serious injuries however this specialised fencing system offers high visibility, strength and flexbility with a 20% stretch extension beyond its original length.
This Equestrian Fencing system comes with a highly visible white finish with visibility being important due to horses being unable to distinguish between certain colours. Some regular fencing systems can be difficult for horses to see and run the risk of horses accidentally running into the fence.
Equestrian Fencing provides a safe fencing solution as it poses little hazardous risks to your horses such as sagging, protruding rails and sharp / broken edges. The construction of these fencing systems will protect your horses from unnecessary injuries.
Most horse injuries in paddocks and pastures are the result of fence-related risks due to the materials used, fencing design and unsafe workmanship. The most effective horse fencing perimeters will mitigate risks such as hooves and legs getting caught in the fence or brace assembly, horses attempting to escape and injuring themselves, chewing wood boards and poor fencing visibility.
